Pathological” waste is considered to be a type of biowaste that consists of recognizable human derived tissues, organs, and body parts, as well as vertebrate animal-derived tissues, organs, and body parts used in research.

Pathological waste should be disposed of in rigid USDOT approved, rigid, leak-proof, and puncture-resistant containers. These containers must be clearly labeled with the words "PATHOLOGY WASTE" or "PATH" on the lids and all sides

Precision Biowaste Services Provided:

One of our certified technicians will make a medical waste service stop at your business location, according to your scheduled service frequency specified in your Medical Waste Service Agreement.

DOT approved medical waste containers must be used for all Regulated medical waste to ensure DOT transportation compliance.

All customers will also have access to their own online portal to log in and see all service manifests and upcoming service calendar. On-line training, in a wide variety of medical and medical waste-related subjects, including Bloodborne Pathogens, can also be economically added to all Precision Biowaste Services Medical Waste Service Agreements.

Incinerable Waste Pricing:

Medical waste requiring incineration or high-heat destruction, such as pharmaceutical, trace chemotherapy and pathology waste are all priced at $2.95 per pound.  Replacement containers are the responsibility of the customer, outside of special arrangements.
